Windfoot continued the search, snapping another one closed with a twig. She marked the eastern border and continued to the northern one.

As far as she knew, there were no other traps, but still, she marked the northern border as well, keeping a sharp eye out.

Silentstar nodded, smiling and glided away.

Finally, Windfoot checked the west border. There was one last trap that she sprung, then she continued back to camp, but didn't make it back before getting the urge to hunt. For a moment, she stopped, scenting the air. There was a vole nearby, and she dropped into a hunting crouch, creeping up on the tiny creature. Though it was small, her acute hearing allowed her to pinpoint its location, and she pounced, catching it in her paws. Then she raced into camp.

She dropped her vole on the fresh-kill pile. Dashing up to Silentstar, she said, "All borders have been checked, and traps have been sprung. There's not much danger now. Why would Twolegs leave them all over the place?

"Anyway," she continued, "They're all sprung, and I caught a vole on the way back."

Silentstar nodded. " Good. Two-Legs might notice and set more though, so be aware when hunting." Silentstar said.

"All right, I'll be careful." Windfoot dipped her head. "If there's no more to be done... it's been a long day," she said, looking up at the sky. "We deserve rest..."

Silentstar nodded. Wishpaw was resting peacefully.

"All right. Good night," Windfoot said, returning to the warriors' den.

Windfoot curled up and fell asleep quickly, being very tired. It was already dusk...

Windfoot dreamed that there was a badger that was attacking the Clan. She tried to jump on its back and claw it while it aimed for the nursery. Fiercely, Windfoot dropped under it and clawed its belly, then jumped out and knocked it over with a quick blow to its head.

Silentstaar sighed, stupid two-legs. She slunk into her den.

Splash eye was the kind who didn't fall asleep quickly. She liked thinking up stories for the kits and apprentices before bed. She stared up at the den ceiling, woven with grass how she liked it.

Wishpaw awoke later, and saw the dusky sky. " Oww.." Wishpaw said, moving her tail.

Sparkpetal padded into her new den with some fresh moss. She made some nests and curled up in one.

Silentstar slipped into her den

((All right, do we skip the night, where our sleep is boring, or does one of us have a dream?))

(( Gengar.. I was getting to that. Man, it feels like people are almost controlling the plot.))

Silentstar had a dream, where she got caught in a trap, and lost a live. A StarClan cat came to her. " beware!" the cat said and dissapeared.

Windfoot awoke and stretched, hopping out into the camp. Having not eaten since the morning before, she chose a small mouse from the fresh-kill pile. After all, she wasn't that hungry, and didn't want to take the prey that could be used for the elders.

Quickly, she finished it, burying its bones, and took a sparrow from the pile, dropping it in front of the elders' den. She then sat in front of the warriors' den, gazing at the sky but paying attention for Silentstar's call.

Silentstar woke up, panting and scared. " Windfoot..?" She called.

"What is it?" Windfoot asked, padding up to Silentstar. "You look stressed. You had a nightmare, I'm guessing? Or is it something else?" Her eyes were soft with apprehension.

((For those who don't know what "apprehension" means, it's either arresting or understanding; in this case, the latter. I don't blame you if you don't know; it's a tough word.))

" Nightmare.. It was a sign from StarClan." Silentstar murmured.

"What happened?" Windfoot asked, sitting down. "If you don't want to talk, it's fine with me. But the best way to keep your emotions from spilling over is to let them out, like a leaf collecting rain."

Silentstar nodded. " It showed me getting caught in a trap, and I lost a few lives I think.."
